What is Hydroseeding?

Hydroseeding is an outgrowth of hydroponics, the relatively new science of growing plants without traditional soil as a planting environment.  In Hydroseeding, the grass seed is contained in a mixture of biodegradeable cellulose-fiber muclch and fertilizer.  The hydroseed mixture is applied with a truck-mounted sprayer, allowing for quick easy plating of your new lawn.   

Advantages of Hydroseeding

• Cost:  Hydroseeding is less than half the cost of sod.  When you consider the total square yardage of your lawn, that can add up to significant cash saving.
